About Ornamental Design
In 1985, two craftsmen who specialized in antique restoration responded to requests from a customer for a unique decorative post top for a gate that had been installed. After completing the project, the two of them received so many requests from other clients that they sat down and designed the 12 post top styles that are seen here on our pages. They named the company Ornamental Designs and called their post caps Liberty Lane PosToppers. The focus of our company has always been one of customer satisfaction and providing a unique, first quality post tops. We use western red cedar and all post tops are hand crafted, not mass produced.
